In Vitro Fertilization
In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a process in which oocytes (eggs) are fertilized with sperm outside of the womb in a laboratory. The resulting embryos are transferred to the patient’s uterus with the intent to establish a pregnancy.
Egg Donor Program
Using donor eggs overcomes the problem of decreased egg quality and/or quantity due to age or to other medical conditions and allows many women who could not become pregnant with their own eggs to become pregnant very easily using eggs from a donor.
Infertility Surgery
Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is a fertility procedure in which sperm are washed, concentrated, and injected directly into a woman’s uterus. The most common indications are cervical mucus abnormalities, low sperm count, low sperm motility, increased sperm viscosity, unexplained infertility, and the need to use frozen donor sperm.
Gestational Surrogacy
Gestational surrogacy requires a surrogate to carry a pregnancy and deliver a child that is created from the egg and the sperm of the intended parents and /or donor egg and /or donor sperm and/or donated embryos in any combination.
Laboratory Procedures
Some conditions affecting fertility cannot be treated with medication, and surgery is required to repair the problem. Surgery may also eliminate the need for advanced treatments such as IVF and other ART services.
